A TRIP TO TIDE SPRING

Iva G. Keister 13

One day last summer, some of my friends and I went to Tide Spring. We took our dinner along. We had chicken, ice cream, crackers, cheese, bananas, oranges, cake, and pie.

We played till dinner. When dinner time came we spread some papers down on the grass. Then we put our dinner out on it. We ate. Then we sat down and talked. While we were sitting there, the Spring flowed. It was very beautiful. It goes up in the air, then it comes down on the ground and runs away.

Then it was getting late so we went home.
