MRS. CLARA RIDDLE TURNER

Leafy M. Runion, 15

This is the picture of Mrs. Clara Riddle Turner, one of the oldest inhabitants of our community. Her father, George Riddle, came from England and her mother, Sallie Custer, came from Germany.

Mrs. Turner was born in 1838. She has always lived in the house in which she was born. She married Mr. Moses Turner in 1867. They had four children.

She [missing section, picture torn off] of any distance.............and tells us.........been on a trai.......

She has watched the development of our community with much interest, and is still an active woman, going about her household duties and looking after the interests of her home.
