A TRIP TO HARRISONBURG

Violet M. Runion, 9

One fine day last summer some of my friends and I went to Harrisonburg. We went in an automobile by way of the valley turnpike. We got to Harrisonburg at eleven o’clock in the forenoon.

When we got there one of my friends treated us to ice cream and candy. We also went to the show ground to see the beautiful animals. After the show was over we returned home, every one saying they had spent a pleasant day.
